The EMERALD Final Workshop organized by the GeePs-CNRS within MSCA-ITN EMERALD project (GA No: 764479) took place at Sorbonne Université (Paris, France) on the 6th, 7th and 8th of April. The slides of Professor Jean-Charles Bolomey and  Professor Patrick Plaisance's conferences are available on the site, feel free to download them. The others including those of the final meeting chaired by POLITO the 6th of April, will be available on the EMERALD private area.

We warmly thank all the speakers from the 9 countries including those online and all the participants.

This conference is intended to maximize the impact of EMERALD's (http://www.msca-emerald.eu/) final results. The EMERALD project received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No764479. To date, more than 20 papers and 50 conference papers have been published, and a book is in preparation. The main results of the action will be presented on Thursday, April 7 by the ESRs, and completed by the realizations exposed on April 8. The themes addressed (thermometry, imaging, monitoring) will first be introduced by Professor Jean-Charles Bolomey.  Elements of response will be provided on the current and increasing emergence of devices based on electromagnetic waves in clinical sites. The point of view of medical and industrial actors will be given by speakers from the medical community, Professor Patrick Plaisance, and from industry: Luc Duchesne (MVG - https://www.mvg-world.com/fr), Stephane Pannetrat and Mounir Teniou (ART-Fi - https://www.art-fi.eu/).  This will stimulate the exploitation of the EMERALD project.
